16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• Where applicable, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods like arbitration or mediation may be used before litigation.

17. Children's Use Restriction (DPDP requirement)

• Users under 18 in India may only use the Services with verifiable parental consent, as required under the DPDP Act, 2023.
• Paathner does not knowingly permit minors to register without such consent.

18. Consumer Protection (E-commerce Rules, 2020)

• All advertisements, promotions, or sponsored listings will be clearly identified as such.
• Paathner is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party offers, ads, or promotions; responsibility lies with the respective merchant/advertiser.

19. International Users & Data Transfer

• Such transfers are protected through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), DPAs, or other legal safeguards.

20. Force Majeure

• Paathner is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, wars, cyberattacks, or government restrictions.

21. General Terms

• These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Paathner.
• If any provision is found invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
• Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
• You may not assign or transfer your rights without written consent; Paathner may assign its rights freely.
